RSF Initiative marks the next evolution of our work toward inclusive, community-driven impact in the Philippines.
After years of implementing programs under The Ruth Sembrano Foundation, we recognized the need for a dedicated structure. One that would allow us to collaborate more effectively with partners, access sustainable funding, and operate with greater transparency and agility within the local landscape.
In the Philippines, many foundations are closely tied to large private corporations, which can make partnership building challenging for independent organizations and grassroots collaborators. RSF Initiative was established to address this gap.
As an SEC-registered non-government organization (NGO), RSF Initiative offers a more flexible and accessible platform for delivering impact on the ground while remaining firmly rooted in the mission, values, and legacy of The Ruth Sembrano Foundation.
Our Purpose
Through RSF Initiative, we aim to:
Strengthen local and international partnerships grounded in shared values and mutual accountability
Design and implement community-led programs with clear, measurable outcomes
Enhance transparency and donor confidence through focused operations and reporting
Expand our reach to underserved and underrepresented communities across the Philippines
